1:46 a.m. A local man said that he blew up his car.

7:42 a.m. Two Bear Air was needed in Mineral County.

7:56 a.m. Mail was stolen in Kalispell.

8:27 a.m. Someone was driving erratically around town.

8:43 a.m. A Kalispell hound dog was chasing deer.

9:59 a.m. Teens were “spinning brodies.”

10:27 a.m. A Whitefish man called 911 to ask what he should do with the cellphone he found the previous night.

11:28 a.m. A dog and its two puppies were running around Whitefish.

12:43 p.m. A Kalispell man had questions about the security system he was installing.

12:47 p.m. A car was speeding.

1:11 p.m. Some mailboxes were destroyed in Somers.

1:28 p.m. A man snow blowing his driveway pocket dialed 911.

1:37 p.m. There was a towel on top of a vehicle in Kalispell.

1:58 p.m. A Kalispell woman said her drunken granddaughter snuck her great granddaughter out a window.

3:35 p.m. A Kalispell man was screaming at some teens who were walking in the middle of the road. The man was concerned the kids would get hit.

4:32 p.m. Some parents in Hungry Horse were worried when their kid did not get off the school bus. Turns out the young man had gotten off at the stop.

5:52 p.m. A local parent was curious if it was a crime for his children not to follow his orders.

6:50 p.m. A Kalispell man was smoking meth.

7:25 p.m. Some threatening Facebook messages were sent.

7:47 p.m. Someone thought they saw a house fire in Whitefish. Turns out it was just a really big bonfire.

8:34 p.m. There was a dying deer in the middle of the road.

11:13 p.m. A Kalispell woman accused her neighbors of having some mysterious technology that could disrupt her telephone calls.

7:22 a.m. A tractor-trailer cut off a bus in Lakeside.

10:15 a.m. A disagreement over the proper way to plow a driveway almost turned into a fistfight in Kalispell.

11:26 a.m. An elderly couple’s Suburban slid off an icy road near Kalispell. The vehicle was partially in the ditch, causing quite the traffic jam, but despite their predicament the couple didn’t seem to be in a hurry to get back on the road.

11:59 p.m. A minivan was swerving all over the highway south of Bigfork.

12:21 p.m. A Somers man announced that his house had been broken into three weeks ago. It’s unknown why he took so long to report the break-in.

12:22 p.m. Someone needed help shoveling in Hungry Horse.

12:58 p.m. A wheel fell off a moving vehicle in Evergreen.

1:16 p.m. A Kalispell man’s uncle threatened to beat him up.

1:43 p.m. A man putting chains on his vehicle in Bigfork accidentally called 911 with his Apple Watch.

1:47 p.m. A Kalispell landlord said the man he’s renting a spare room to drove through his front yard — twice.

2:22 p.m. A disorderly man refused to leave a Kalispell gas station.

2:32 p.m. A Kalispell man reported that a woman he didn’t know was screaming at him.

2:36 p.m. A visitor from Arizona was driving drunk through Kalispell.

4:34 p.m. Someone in Whitefish was apparently practicing for the upcoming skijoring competition down Hodgson Road. Except instead of being pulled by a horse, they were being pulled by a Subaru Outback. A nearby resident thought that was pretty unsafe.

4:39 p.m. A theft was reported on Shady Lane.

5:31 p.m. A Kalispell resident came home to find all of their windows broken.

5:47 p.m. A Whitefish woman called 911 because there was a dog on her lawn and she was curious if she could shoot it.

5:56 p.m. A Kalispell resident was having trouble getting out of their driveway.

6:20 p.m. A Kalispell storekeeper reported that someone was being creepy.

7:42 p.m. A deer was struck by a motor vehicle. The animal was not expected to survive.

8:16 p.m. Someone pocket-dialed 911. When dispatch called back to see if everything was OK, the pocket-dialer was incredibly apologetic.

8:40 p.m. A car was stuck in the snow.

1:21 a.m. Someone was injured in a Whitefish bar fight and needed a ride to the hospital. By the time an ambulance arrived, however, the victim had wandered off.

4:43 a.m. A Kalispell man called 911 to discuss an online money-laundering scheme. He said he hadn’t lost any money but that he’s concerned other people might.

8:10 a.m. Someone got locked out of their car.

2:09 p.m. A bag of drugs was found at a local coffee shop.

4:53 p.m. A Kalispell man was “tweaking out.”

8:08 p.m. A Kalispell man called 911 to report that he “felt like an octopus.” He then started singing Cher songs.

9:19 p.m. Two people were arguing in a Kalispell parking lot.

11:29 p.m. Two Kalispell residents were screaming at each other.

That would be local dialect for doing doughnuts. It’s a term that I used as a youth.
